I've been following the heartbreaking case of Massiel Cindy S. Deoleo, and I just can't stop thinking about her kids. It must be so incredibly hard for them to lose their mom in such a tragic way. I read that a GoFundMe has been set up for them, and I'm hoping the community really rallies around to support these kids during this unimaginably difficult time. It's such a shame that there were warning signs about Cox's violent past. I wonder if there might have been more that could have been done to protect Massiel from him. It’s crucial that we keep these conversations going about domestic violence and the systems that are meant to support victims before things reach such a tragic conclusion. My heart truly goes out to Massiel’s family as they navigate their loss and find a way forward.
