Hi everyone,
I’ve been following Anthony McGriff's case, and I can’t stop thinking about the timeframe between the shooting and when he was pronounced dead. It’s only about 45 minutes. I really hope the medical staff did everything they could at University Hospital to save him. I can’t imagine what his loved ones went through waiting for any news during those precious moments.
Considering the time of day, it must have been really busy on Prince Street. Someone out there must have seen something! It’s so important for anyone who was around to share what they know with the police.
I'm really hoping that justice is served soon. It's just so important for his family to find some peace. My thoughts are with all those who cared for him.
If anyone has any updates on the case, I’d love to hear them or learn how we can help bring more attention to this.
I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on the local community, especially knowing that Anthony McGriff was a Lawrenceville resident. It's a particularly chilling reminder of how senseless violence can affect someone so far from home. I can't even begin to imagine what his family must be going through, having lost him in such an unexpected and violent way.
I’ve read that no arrests have been made yet, which must be incredibly frustrating for those who loved him. I hope that anyone who knows something comes forward soon. It's important for the community to rally together to bring some closure to this case. Sharing whatever information we might have could really help shift things towards justice for Anthony. My thoughts are with his family and all who cared about him.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been following Anthony McGriff’s case, and something that's been on my mind is the impact on the community in Lawrenceville and Newark. It’s truly unsettling to think about how many lives have been changed by this tragedy. He wasn’t just a name in the news; he was a son, a friend, perhaps an uncle or a father. Every piece of information we can share could help give the family some peace. It’s also a reminder of how important it is for communities to come together during times like these. I really hope that anyone who knows something steps up—I can't imagine the pain his loved ones are enduring. It just seems so senseless, and it's so important we support each other in these moments.
Please, if anyone has even the smallest piece of info that might help, reach out to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. Let's hope for some closure soon.
