I've been following the case of Devine Shells' murder, and it's so troubling to think how a broad daylight attack could remain unsolved for this long. The fact that it happened on such a busy street like Martin Luther King Boulevard, where people were going about their day, is really unsettling. I can't even imagine the fear in that moment for those who witnessed it.
I wonder if there were surveillance cameras nearby that might've captured more about the attackers or their vehicle. It's surprising to me that with all the technology we have, these kinds of cases can still prove so difficult to crack. It's heartbreaking to see the shell of a vibrant young life reduced to another statistic. I truly hope that those who know something find the courage to step forward. Devine's family deserves answers, and our community should be committed to making sure this doesn't become just another cold case.
