Hey everyone, I’ve been following the discussion about Shai Vanderpump’s case and couldn’t help but think about the importance of community support during such trying times. Shai was such an incredible advocate, always standing up for others, and it’s clear that her community truly loved her for who she was. It’s deeply disturbing to think that someone so cherished could be taken away so violently. I noticed some people have been talking about the potential for bias charges and it reminded me just how crucial it is for us to keep having these conversations about the threats the transgender community faces. Shai’s death isn’t just a statistic; it’s a call to action for all of us. If you’re in the area or know someone who might have seen or heard something, please do consider reaching out to the authorities. It’s the least we can do to seek some semblance of justice for Shai. Sending all my love to Shai’s friends and family. I hope they know that they’re not alone in this fight, and Shai’s legacy will continue to inspire change. Let’s keep pushing for a world where everyone, regardless of their identity, can live freely and safely.
