Hi everyone, Something that's been sticking with me about Shemiah Davis's case is the impact on her classmates at Daylight/Twilight Alternative High School. It's unimaginable the weight they must carry, knowing a friend and peer was senselessly taken. This tragic incident might be overshadowed by the crime itself, but I can only imagine the emotional toll it has on these young individuals, especially those who might have seen the alleged fight involving one of the suspects, Isaiah Lee. Witnessing such events and then dealing with the loss of a friend must be incredibly difficult. For any youth directly or indirectly affected, I hope there is ample support available to help them process this trauma. It’s clear that healing from something like this is a community effort. If anyone here has insight into programs or support groups in Trenton for young people dealing with loss and trauma, it would be great to share.
