Has anyone else been following the details around Damean Bates' arrest in North Carolina? It's really hitting me how far-reaching some of these investigations can be. From New Jersey to North Carolina! Just makes you think about the amount of resources that go into tracking someone down across state lines. I hope this provides some sense of relief to Ishamell’s family, knowing that efforts are being made to bring justice for him. It’s always tough to see families go through something like this, but it’s a small comfort to see that the authorities are taking it seriously and making progress. Keeping Ishamell’s family in my thoughts.

It's so difficult to process the senselessness of this tragedy. I've been thinking a lot about Ishamell's family, especially his kids, and the impact this is having on them. Losing a parent is a pain that echoes throughout a lifetime, and at such a young age, you can only hope they have a strong support system around them. Also, it's interesting to see how they caught Damean Bates in North Carolina.
