I'm still shaken by the news about the Kelemen case. I can't stop thinking about Katherine's friends and the community at Temple University who lost such a promising young person. From what I've read, Katherine was just months away from graduating—a milestone moment in life—and it breaks my heart to think she won't get to experience that or any of the successes she would have surely achieved afterward. I've been involved in some advocacy work for mental health awareness, and this case is a tragic reminder of our urgent need to improve mental health support systems. How can we prevent these tragedies from happening? It makes me wonder if there were any signs that Gregory was struggling and if there was a missed opportunity to intervene before things escalated. This situation just weighs heavy on my mind. I'm sending all my love and support to those who knew Katherine and to Sheri as she recovers. We should all be thinking about how we can make sure this doesn’t happen again.
