Has anyone else thought about how tricky it must be for investigators working on cases like Felix Sanchez's? I was just reading up on it again, and it struck me how cases from the 90s, especially those with limited media coverage, seem to just fade from public memory. It must be an uphill battle for law enforcement trying to keep such cases active and gathering new leads.
I wonder if there are any more recent technological advancements or methods in forensic science that could be applied retroactively to these older cases. Doesn’t it seem like every few months we hear about another cold case from decades ago being solved with new DNA analysis techniques or something similar? Here's hoping that something like that could eventually bring some answers to those invested in finding out what happened to Felix. Anyone else have thoughts on how federal and state resources can better support these ongoing investigations?
