I’ve been following the tragic case of Damoi Davauni Campbell, and something that stands out to me is the sheer magnitude of collaboration between different law enforcement agencies. Imagine coordinating between so many units—from the Bayonne PD to agencies across state lines—it must be a massive effort. It really reinforces how interconnected our justice systems need to be to tackle cases that span multiple jurisdictions. As painful as it is to see young lives affected on both sides of a case like this, it's heartening to know that our justice system leaves no stone unturned in its quest for justice. My thoughts are with Damoi’s family and friends as they navigate this unimaginable loss—I hope they find some measure of comfort as the investigation progresses. If anyone has any insights on how multi-agency task forces operate in such complex situations, I’d love to hear your thoughts. It’s a facet of the justice process that deserves more understanding and awareness.
