I was just reading about Thomas Pickett's case, and it's so distressing to think about the kind of loss his family is enduring. From everything I’ve seen and read, Thomas seemed like a genuinely kind and talented young man—someone who brightened up the rooms he walked into with his humor and passion for music. It’s incredibly frustrating that there haven’t been any arrests yet. It makes you wonder about what kind of person could disrupt so many lives without a second thought. There's a lot of conversation about the role of community in these investigations, and I wholeheartedly believe that sometimes crucial information lies within just a few people who might’ve seen or heard something. I’d urge anyone in the Newark area to think back to that night—maybe something unusual stood out to them. Even the smallest detail could be the missing piece detectives need. I hope justice is served soon for Thomas's loved ones. Sending strength to his family and all who cared for him during this seemingly endless wait for answers.
