I came across the story of little Karen Clark while exploring some genealogy records and felt an overwhelming sense of sadness at how her life was cut short. Does anyone here know more about her or have any local knowledge from Grand Blanc around that time? I couldn’t find much about the circumstances of her passing, and it’s odd that there seems to be little public trace or discussion about it considering the tragedy of losing someone so young. Sometimes smaller communities can keep memories of such events alive in their own ways, so I'm curious if anyone remembers hearing stories or has personal insights they'd be willing to share. I really hope her family found peace and comfort over the years. It must have been an unimaginably painful experience for them.
