I've been digging into the Hazelwood massacre, and one angle that really strikes me is Sharon Brown's use of aliases like Jacquelynn Foster and Linda Johnson. It's so sad to think that she might have been trying to escape some part of her life or protect her identity for a reason we may never know. The fact that her real name wasn't even initially used in reports just adds layers to how invisibly these victims were treated in the aftermath. It makes me wonder if she knew about the potential danger she was in or if she was simply caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her family must have been devastated not only by her loss but also by the confusion surrounding her identity at first. My heart goes out to them. Does anyone have more information about her life before this tragedy? I think it's important to remember her as more than just a name linked to this horrific event.
