I've been thinking about the impact this case had on the Larkins family, especially Sharon and their kids. It's hard to imagine what they went through for all those years. It must be somewhat reassuring to see his name honored on the National Fallen Officers Memorial, ensuring his bravery isn't forgotten. It's a powerful reminder of the sacrifices officers and their families make, often long after the headlines fade.
