Does anyone else find it strange that there's so little media coverage on Pedro Custodio's case? I was digging through some old missing persons cases, and his name popped up. The details are so scarce, but you'd think someone disappearing in a place as busy as NYC would have more info available. Has anyone come across other similar cases from that time where leads just seemed to dry up without much public attention? Maybe there's something in the methods of how cases were handled back then, or could it be that the sheer size and activity of the city made it easier for his disappearance to get overshadowed? Would love to hear thoughts or see if anyone else has dived deeper into past NYC disappearances.

Has anyone else looked into the NamUs case for Pedro Custodio? It’s so frustrating that after all these years, there's still so little we know about what happened to him. I've been thinking a lot about how difficult it must have been for his family, trying to find any clue or lead, especially with the limited information they had back then compared to today. I wonder if his physical description back in 1996, particularly his unique hair color, might have caught someone’s eye, but they just didn’t connect the dots. If anyone here has seen similar cases from that era, how often do older missing persons cases like this suddenly get breakthroughs? Maybe modern technology like genealogy DNA or even a fresh set of eyes could shed some light on Pedro’s case. Would love to hear your thoughts or any insights!
