I can’t help but think about how close Seth and Steven Wallace must have been for Steven to get involved in something so horrific. It’s haunting to consider the kind of influence or sense of loyalty that led Steven to assist Seth after such a brutal act. They were both just seniors in high school—their entire lives ahead of them, and then this. Sometimes, friendships can take such a dark turn when one person becomes blindly devoted or swayed by the other’s influence. I feel deeply for the families and friends affected, especially those at Reeths-Puffer High who knew them both. How do you even begin to reconcile the image of who you thought your classmate was with something so dark? My heart goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy.

I've been thinking a lot about how the community responded right after the Privacky tragedy in Muskegon. It's been over two decades, but I still remember how tightly knit we became when faced with such a senseless act. Friends and neighbors stepped up in ways that truly reinforced the idea of community support. The high school provided counseling services that seemed to be there around the clock, and it wasn't uncommon to see people holding gatherings to remember the victims and offer support to the grieving families. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they must have felt. It's a testament to their strength and the strength of the community that people were able to come together during such a dark time. I think it's important to keep sharing these moments of compassion, not just the details of the crime, to remind us all that love can shine through even the most terrible events.

Has anyone looked into the relationship between Jedediah and his brother Seth before the incident? It’s so hard to wrap my mind around how something like this could happen between siblings. It seems so unfathomable that these tensions could escalate to such a tragic outcome. I wonder if there were any warning signs or if anyone around them had noticed changes in Seth's behavior leading up to that day. It's just incredibly sad for the family and those who knew them, especially considering how young both Jedediah and April were. My heart goes out to their friends who must have been shattered by this loss.
