I’ve been thinking a lot about Amy Green’s little boy, Keegan. It just breaks my heart that he had to witness such a traumatic event at such a young age. Being only six years old and then getting injured in the crossfire—it truly makes you worry about the long-term impact this could have on him. I hope that with the right community support and counseling, Keegan can find some semblance of normalcy and healing in the midst of this tragedy. It's so tough to imagine the fear and confusion he must have felt. I’ve read that children who go through experiences like this can carry their effects for years, and it just seems so unfair. If anyone knows of any organizations or ways we can support children like Keegan who have faced such unimaginable circumstances, please share. It would be good for the community to rally around him, even if just from afar. Keeping him and all affected in my thoughts.
