I came across an old map of the Clarence Strait area, and it's striking how vast and open the waters are around where the Tamra Dawn was reported to be sinking. Navigating those waters must be incredibly challenging, especially in bad weather conditions. It got me thinking about how often vessels encounter unexpected circumstances out there. Does anyone know if there have been similar incidents in that area, or if there are specific navigational hazards that fishermen often face? It's a sobering thought considering what happened with William, and I can't help but wonder if there were any preventive measures or signs that could have flagged this situation earlier.
