I was just reading through some old articles about Michael Carroll's disappearance and something really struck me. Has anyone else noticed how strange it is that his car was found abandoned in Letchworth State Park, of all places? I mean, I've been there a couple of times, and it's such a vast area with so many nooks and crannies. It's interesting that nothing else was found in that area despite thorough searches. I wonder if there's any significance to that location or if it was just a random spot. It's really unsettling to think how easily someone could go missing in such a dense area like that. Maybe there are other theories or local legends relating to that park that might be worth exploring? Thoughts?

Does anyone else find it strange how Michael Carroll's car was just left in Letchworth State Park without any signs of struggle or personal belongings? I've been reading a lot about his case, and it's baffling that there were no footprints or anything that might suggest where he headed from the car. With so many people visiting that park, it seems unlikely that no one saw him on or around that day. Did he purposely leave his car there to disappear? It just seems like such a public place to vanish without leaving a trace. I'm wondering if anyone local to Buffalo or familiar with the park back in the 90s might have insights or remember anything unusual from around that time. It might be a long shot, but even small details could make a difference in these kinds of cases.

Has anyone else found it strange that Michael Carroll's car was left in such an isolated spot in Letchworth State Park? I know there's a lot of speculation about why he might have been there, but it's such a vast area. Did he have any known interests or connections to that location? It'd be interesting to know if he visited the park often or if it was a completely random place for him. Maybe someone came across him on the trails and just hasn't realized it yet. Also, that time of year, the weather could have been harsh—December in New York isn’t forgiving. Seems like an odd choice if he was planning to just go for a drive or hike. Anyone have any theories about what might have drawn him there or who else could have known he was headed that way?
