Did anyone else dig into the aftermath of William Lamont Fultz's case? It's been constantly on my mind. I keep thinking about his 14 kids and how their lives must have been shattered that morning. I found myself researching the social services and support structures in Detroit around that time and wondering if the family got any kind of community support or assistance afterward. Does anyone have insights into how the community rallied around the family? Were there any local initiatives set up to help them through such an unfathomable loss? It just makes me wonder about the hidden struggles the families of victims have to navigate in the wake of such violent acts. If anyone can shed some light or share ways we might be able to help families in similar situations today, please let me know.
