Does anyone remember anything unusual around the Union Passenger Terminal in January '98? I've been deep diving into Jerry C. Lucas's case, and it’s perplexing how he just vanished after arriving there. Given that it was early morning around a major transit hub, you'd think someone might have noticed something. Not a peep from witnesses or surveillance footage, though. It's like he just vanished there. Anybody ever heard about potential sightings or other theories related to that area back then?
I'm really curious about any additional passengers or cab drivers that might have been at the Union Passenger Terminal on the morning Jerry C. Lucas disappeared. Is there any record of the cab company trying to identify the driver who dropped him off? Or if there were any other passengers mentioned? It's such a busy place; someone must have seen something. Wondering if there's been any follow-up with employees or those who were frequenting the terminal around that same time. Maybe a fresh look at old witness statements could uncover new insights. Anyone have thoughts or info on that?
I've been following Jerry C. Lucas's case for a while, and one detail that's always struck me is the timing of his cab ride. 5:00 a.m. seems like such an odd time to be heading to the Union Passenger Terminal unless he was catching an early train or bus. But from what I've read, there's no confirmation that he even bought a ticket or boarded anything that morning. Does anyone know if there were any events or gatherings in New Orleans that day which might have attracted him there? Also, I'm curious if there's any record of the cab driver being questioned thoroughly. It just feels like a critical piece of the puzzle could be hidden in those early morning hours. Thoughts?
