I've been thinking a lot about Kenyetta Barnes' little girl, Ahmiya, who was injured in that tragic shooting. It's unimaginable for anyone that young to experience something so traumatic. I really hope the community is coming together to support her and Kenyetta's other kids during this incredibly difficult time. It’s comforting to know Ahmiya was reported to be stable after being hurt, but emotional wounds can linger long after physical ones heal. If anyone has information on organizations or groups offering support to the family, please share. The more we can do to help these children, the better. Sending strength and love to them all.
I can't stop thinking about Kenyetta's youngest, Ahmiya, who was injured in such a terrifying and traumatic way. It's unimaginable what that little girl and her siblings must be going through.
