Hearing how the local church came together to honor him at Rivers of Living Waters Ministries really struck a chord with me. It's clear that E.J. was loved, and it’s truly a testament to how important community support is during such devastating times. I wonder if local organizations or those with influence have stepped up since his passing to address the bigger issue of gun violence in Muskegon. Eleven homicides in one year... that's more than just numbers; it's a series of deep personal tragedies for the families involved. I hope there’s been some progress or initiatives to remember and honor these young lives. If anyone has updates on how the community has responded long-term or any new programs aimed at reducing gun violence, I'd love to hear about it.
