Was anyone else struck by the unsettling time of the incident? 2:30 a.m. seems like such an odd hour for such a tragic event to occur. What was really going on at that time? I feel for Rita's family and the community she supported so much. It's horrifying to think about someone targeting a home with children inside. It makes me wonder if it was random or if there was an actual motive we just don't know yet. With the number of homicides in Flint during that period, it's disheartening to realize the broader context of violence that surrounded this incident. I really hope more details come to light to help bring some closure to everyone affected.
