Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact that DeAngelo Turner’s murder had on the children who witnessed it at that BP station. It's hard to imagine how terrifying that must have been for them. Being so young, they were just in the wrong place at the absolute worst time. Does anyone know if there was any support provided to them and their families afterward? I really hope there were services offered to help them cope with the trauma they experienced. Kids shouldn't have to carry those kinds of memories. It’s important to remember that the ripples of violence extend beyond the immediate family and friends. If anyone has updates on support efforts or how the community came together about this, I'd love to hear more. Knowing that the community stepped up could at least be one positive takeaway in this terrible situation. Take care, everyone.
