It's truly unsettling to think about how someone's life can take such a sudden and tragic turn. I've been following the case of Charles Cuti, and something that really sticks out to me is the role that peer influence might have played in his life. It's clear that he had a troubled history, but it seems like he was trying to turn things around. Yet, sometimes falling in with the wrong crowd can make it incredibly hard to escape past mistakes. I feel for his family, who, despite everything, loved and supported him. It's heartbreaking to imagine the confusion and pain they must be feeling, knowing he was trying to do better but was taken away so violently. It makes me wonder how different things could have been if there were more support systems in place to help people like Charles who are trying to change their lives.
