Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Gene and the others who went missing during their boating trip from Wales to Diomede. I find it really odd that there haven't been any reported sightings or clues washed up along the coastline. Considering the area and currents, wouldn't there be some trace by now? Especially since there were adults and a child on board, it seems like something would have surfaced. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like more could be done to understand the currents and patterns in this area to aid in the search. Thoughts?

Has anyone been following the case of Gene and the group he was with while boating from Wales to Diomede? I'm really curious about the weather conditions that day. I've heard the Bering Sea can be super unpredictable, with fog and currents that could make navigation really tricky. Does anyone know if they had any experience with those waters or if they checked the forecast? It would have been risky with a child on board, right? It's just so concerning to think about all the potential hazards out there. Any thoughts or insights from locals familiar with that route?
