Has anyone else been following the heartbreaking story of Kara Allen and her brother Chadney? I've been reading a lot about the case, and I can't stop thinking about Kara's future that was violently taken away. It's especially tragic when you consider that Kara was such a bright young person on the cusp of adulthood—she was an honor student with so much potential. As discussions of Gregory Green's defense proceed, I hope the legal system delivers the justice that Kara and her siblings deserve. It's crazy to think that Green had already served time for a previous crime, and yet here we are. It makes you wonder how we can better protect families and prevent something like this from ever happening again. Sending thoughts and strength to Faith Harris-Green and everyone affected by this unspeakable tragedy. It's just too much. ?️
