Hey everyone, I've been thinking about the chilling details surrounding Jeremaine Tilmon’s murder. What really hits home for me is the bravery this man must have had. Witness reports say Jeremaine had his hands up when he was tragically shot. It’s hard to imagine being in such a position, standing defenseless in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. It's incredibly sad knowing he was trying to make a difference in the community through his work with Ceasefire. Even after having stepped away from gang life, it seems like the shadows of his past might have been waiting for a moment like this. I can't help but wonder: Was there someone who couldn't let go of old grudges? The fact that he was there to meet someone just before the shooting adds layers of mystery.
