I'm struck by the incredible strength Shaun's mom, Teresa, displayed during the trial. It must have taken immense courage to speak out in front of the person responsible for such a devastating loss. Her words seemed to encapsulate the grief and anger that any parent would feel in such a situation. I can't imagine the weight she carries every day. Her ability to give a voice to Shaun and ensure his story is heard on such a public stage is truly commendable. Families like the LaBelles deserve all the support we can offer as they navigate these unthinkable circumstances. My thoughts are with them as they continue to heal and seek peace.
