I've been reflecting on the tragic loss of Reginald Rose-Robinson and wanted to share some thoughts. I can't stop thinking about what kind of future Reginald might have had, given all his incredible talents and aspirations. Being active in so many areas, from sports to music, and even participating in the police cadet program, really speaks to his potential and the bright path he was on. It’s incomprehensible how a simple moment of misunderstanding led to such devastating consequences. Gun violence and impulsive decisions can ripple so far beyond the immediate act, and the more I read about cases like this, the more I think about the change that’s needed to prevent other families from facing similar heartbreak. My heart goes out to Latrice Foster and the entire family, who have endured so much pain and loss. I hope they find some solace in the memories of the amazing young man Reginald was and in the love their community continues to show for him.
