Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact of trauma on the surviving family members after such horrific events. Julina's daughter, Zariah, must be going through unimaginable pain and confusion after losing her mom and brother in this way. I can't begin to imagine how a young child processes such a loss. One thing that struck me about the vigil was how the community came together, providing support and love for Zariah. It's so crucial for her to have a strong support system during this tough time. I hope there are resources being offered to help her cope with the emotional aftermath of this tragedy. Has anyone else come across similar cases where communities have rallied like this? I find it a bit reassuring to know there are people out there willing to support those left in the wake of such tragedies. My thoughts are with Zariah and all who loved Julina and Nicholas. ?

I came across this case recently and it just weighs so heavily on my mind. Julina Gale Gibson was truly a light in the lives of those she cared for. Her line of work in home healthcare speaks volumes about her character. The dedication she showed in helping individuals with disabilities is something that deserves recognition. While reading through the details of that tragic day in November 2017, my heart goes out to her family and especially her young daughter, Zariah. Losing a mother and brother in such an unimaginable way is a loss no one should have to experience. It's crucial that the community surrounds her with love and support. If anyone attended the vigil, I'd be grateful to hear about how Julina and Nicholas were remembered. It's important we keep their memories alive and focus on creating a safe environment for those who remain.
