Has anyone else been following the Clevis Bassett case? I’ve been thinking a lot about how busy the Mass Transportation Authority Transit Center must have been on that Friday night. It seems like such a public place for something so awful to happen. I can’t help but wonder if there were more witnesses who, for whatever reason, haven’t come forward yet. It must be incredibly agonizing for Clevis’s family to know there might be people out there with information and still no closure. I hope the recent focus on Flint PD’s handling of cases brings about some positive changes. Maybe renewed attention can prompt those who saw or know something to share what they have with authorities. My thoughts go out to Clevis's loved ones during these long, unresolved months.
