Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Terrell “Rell” Montrell Williams’ case for a while, and something keeps sticking out to me. As tragic as his story is, what strikes me most is the community side of things. Rell was a welder and a rapper, and it seems like he was such a vibrant part of Flint. It’s sad to think about what this loss means for those who were inspired by him or relied on his positivity.
It's challenging not to feel frustrated by how little headway has been made in solving his murder, but I keep thinking about the small ways a community can collectively remember someone like Rell. Was there ever any community event or gathering held in his honor? I wonder if local musicians or artists have done anything to keep his memory going. It might not solve the case, but maybe it can help keep him in our minds until justice is finally served.
If anyone around Flint has heard of anything like this, I’d love to know more. Preserving his spirit through music or gatherings might be a way for loved ones and the community to hold onto something positive while waiting for that closure we all hope for. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.
Stay safe, folks.
