I was thinking about Moeneisha's children today, and it breaks my heart to imagine what they’re going through. Losing a mother is an unimaginable loss, and at such a young age, those kids are now left without the comfort and love she provided. Moeneisha's life was cut too short, but her impact is long-lasting, not only within her family but throughout the entire Saginaw community. It’s important we rally around her family, especially little Jasiah, Mahari, and Kiyen. Community support can make a big difference for them in such a difficult time. Also, I hope this case continues to raise awareness about domestic violence and the real, tragic consequences it can have. Keeping her memory alive is crucial, and reaching out with kindness and support to those around us who might be in similar situations could make a huge difference.
