Has anyone else seen the episode of "American Monster" that covers India Mackey's case? I finally got around to watching it, and it was such a powerful and upsetting reminder of what she went through. What struck me was the way the episode captured her vibrant spirit through the social media clips they showed. It's almost like we got to know her a little, and it makes the whole situation even more intolerable. I also found myself thinking about the role of bystanders. In cases like this, where there's footage and threats, I wonder if there’s something more we can do as a community to recognize these signs earlier and intervene before it's too late. India deserved so much more, and my heartfelt thoughts go out to her friends and family who lost someone so dear to them.
