I’ve been following Deonte Jackson's case, and I’m just baffled by how it’s remained unsolved all this time. Has anyone else noticed how it seems like the suspect had such a planned escape route? Walking through the snow and disappearing onto 24th Street just sounds so calculated. It makes me wonder if there's something we're missing or if someone out there knows more than they’re letting on.
It's frustrating that the efforts of the community and the police haven't brought any leads to light. I can't even begin to imagine what Delores is going through, losing her son and partner in such a devastating way. It’s important we keep this case in the public eye—Deonte and his dad deserve justice. If anyone out there has even the smallest piece of information, please consider reaching out to Crime Stoppers. Sometimes it’s the tiny details that break a case wide open.
I was driving past 23rd Street the other day, and it still gives me chills thinking about what happened to Deonte and Bruce. It’s terrifying knowing that such a violent act occurred in what seems like a quiet area. I didn’t know Deonte personally, but I heard he was a really kind person, and it breaks my heart to know his family has to endure this uncertainty and pain. I can't even imagine the grief Delores must be experiencing, losing both a son and a partner in such a senseless manner.
I hope the reminder of this case from Crime Stoppers encourages someone to speak up. I also have a lot of respect for the law enforcement teams that continue to work on this unsolved case, even years later. If anyone has any info, however small, it could be significant. Let's keep Deonte and Bruce in our thoughts and support efforts to bring whoever is responsible to justice.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about the unsolved double homicide of Deonte Jackson and his father, Bruce Banks, and something has been on my mind. The fact that the suspect managed to walk through the snow to another street where a vehicle was waiting is really sticking with me. For someone to plan an escape route in those conditions suggests they were likely familiar with the area, don't you think?
It makes me wonder who in their circle might have known them that well and would have had a reason—or at least access—to execute something so sinister. For two beloved members of the community to be taken like this is just beyond comprehension. I hope that more people continue to come forward with information. Deonte and Bruce both deserve justice, and I can only imagine the immense pain this has caused for their family and friends.
Thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Could a local link be more significant than we realize?
Stay safe, everyone.
