Has anyone else been following the case of Rance Mack? It's so upsetting to hear about another life lost to the violence plaguing Chicago back in 2009. I was particularly moved by the fact that he was shot in a public space—doesn't that just highlight how unsafe things were back then? I can only imagine how terrifying it must've been for residents during that period, with the constant fear of something like this happening. I truly feel for his family and friends, having to endure such a tragic loss. It just makes me wonder what more could have been done to make neighborhoods safer. Sending thoughts to those who knew Rance, and hoping for some peace and justice in these communities eventually.
