I've been reading up on the Arctic Rose incident, and something's been bugging me. Does anyone else find the location odd? I mean, 205 miles northwest of St. Paul Island is really out there, especially in those rough waters. I've read a few things about fishing vessels heading out that far, but isn’t it kind of risky? I wonder if the crew had any concerns before they left port. Anyone here familiar with fishing routes in the Bering Sea who can shed some light? Could the decision to go so far have contributed to what happened? Just trying to make sense of it all.
Does anyone have more information about the conditions around the Arctic Rose sinking? I’ve been combing through weather reports, and it seems like the sea was particularly rough that day. Was it a sudden storm, or were they just caught in worsening conditions? I can't stop thinking about how terrifying being out there must have been, especially since it happened so far from land. If anyone knows more or has insights into what might have happened, please share. It feels important to piece together every detail we can... Aaron and the others deserve that much.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the Arctic Rose case, and I'm really curious about the area where it sank. Does anyone here have any insights into the fishing conditions or weather patterns northwest of St. Paul Island around the time Aaron went missing? It's always seemed like such a remote and harsh environment. From what I understand, unpredictable weather can make it incredibly dangerous out there. Hoping maybe someone with more knowledge about that region can shed some light on how challenging it is for fishing crews. Any opinions or info would be great to hear.
Thanks!
