I wanted to talk a bit about the memorial fund that was set up for Davaisha's family. It's really moving to see how the community has come together to support them during this incredibly tough time. From what I’ve read, the fund was aimed at helping with funeral expenses and other needs that arose from this tragedy. I think it shows the power of community when people rally to support one another. It breaks my heart that her family has to go through this, but it’s comforting to know they aren't alone in this fight. If anyone knows legitimate ways to contribute or other resources to support Davaisha's family and friends, maybe share them here? It’s times like these that we need to come together, not just for justice, but to remind those who are grieving that they aren’t facing this alone. Let's keep talking about her and keep her story alive until we see justice served.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact that Davaisha’s murder has had on our community in Jackson. It's incredibly upsetting to see such a bright young life taken away so senselessly. As I walk past the 1200 block of Heather Lane sometimes, I can't help but feel a chill knowing what happened there. What’s really been worrying me is the lack of information about why her home was targeted. It’s hard for a community to heal when there are so many unanswered questions. How can we feel safe when it feels like there are pieces of the puzzle missing? I truly hope that law enforcement will share more details soon, not just for the peace of mind of the community, but especially for her family who deserves to know why this happened. Sending strength and love to them during this unimaginably difficult time. Davaisha deserves justice, and we all need to keep advocating for answers and change.
