Has anyone else been following the incredibly tragic story of the Moore family in Warren, MI? The whole situation is so devastating, but I can’t stop thinking about how Isis Rimson was living her life before all this horror struck. Having a young child and just trying to build a life together with Tukuyo... I can’t even begin to imagine the terror they must’ve felt. The fact that her home—a place where she should have felt safest—was turned into a crime scene is just gut-wrenching. The more I learn about the case, the more I feel for their families and the unimaginable grief they must be going through. And poor Tai'raz, only six years old! It just breaks me thinking about innocent lives caught up in such a violent, senseless act. It’s a harsh reminder of how deep and dangerous the ties of drug trafficking can run. I hope the families are finding some support from their communities and breathing easier knowing justice was served with the conviction. But it’s so sad knowing they’ll never truly have peace after such a loss. If anyone has information on support efforts for the families, please share. They need all the support they can get.
