I recently came across the troubling case of Isis Rimson and her family, and it really made me reflect on just how disturbing these violent crimes can be. One detail that struck me was the defensive wounds found on Isis. It just breaks my heart to think about her trying to protect herself and Tai'raz during such a terrifying ordeal. The fact that she fought back shows her immense courage, even in the face of such fear. It makes you wonder about her final moments and how desperate she must have felt to save herself and that little boy. It’s a tragic reminder of the senselessness of violence and its ripple effects on loved ones left behind. My thoughts go out to their families, who had to relive this tragedy through the trial, and I hope they find some semblance of peace in knowing justice was served.
