I can’t stop thinking about Reginae’s mom, Etosha, and how she’s coping with this unimaginable loss. Losing a child is something no parent should ever have to go through, and doing so in such a senseless way just adds more layers to their pain. During the press conference, Etosha talked about faith and forgiveness, which is simply incredible given everything she’s been through. Her strength is truly inspiring, even as she mourns. It's heartbreaking that this tragedy is yet another example of the pervasive gun violence in Detroit. How many more families need to suffer before real change happens? Sending all my love and prayers to Reginae’s family and everyone affected by this. ? #JusticeForReginae
