Hey everyone, I've been following Cristina Elva Virola's case, and something that's been on my mind is the impact on the resources of the Lansing Police Department. It's incredibly frustrating to see how understaffing, especially in the cold case unit, seems to be delaying justice for Cristina and others. I can't imagine how her family must feel, knowing there's so much left unresolved and that this isn't getting the immediate attention it deserves. It's commendable that the Lansing City Council is searching for ways to better support the department, but I wonder how long this process might take and whether the added resources will be enough to make a significant difference in the investigation. Has anyone here had experiences with how increased resources can affect the resolution of unsolved cases? I hope for Cristina’s family’s sake that they find some answers soon. It's painful to think about what they’re going through without closure.
