Does anyone else find it incredibly eerie how life can change in the blink of an eye? Reed was such a beloved person in our community, and I can't even begin to comprehend the pain his family must be feeling. Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time for gratitude and togetherness, and to think that a simple get-together could end so tragically... it’s surreal.
What really gets to me is the randomness of it all. A single bullet, an accident, and now two families are grieving the loss of their sons. I hope we can honor Reed and Marcus by cherishing every moment we have with our loved ones. It serves as a stark reminder of how fragile life truly is. My heart goes out to all who knew them—may they find peace and comfort in these difficult times.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been looking into the Carter-Mackey case and can't wrap my head around how the authorities quickly concluded this was just a tragic accident with no further investigation needed. Has anyone considered or discussed the possibility of reconstructing the scene to understand how the trajectory of the bullet could have ended in such a catastrophic result? You’d think with something this out of the ordinary, more details would be necessary for closure—for both families involved. I know the police said there was no foul play, but shouldn't there be a deeper look? It’s just so sad to think their families might be left with questions. Thoughts?
