I've been following Douglas's case, and something that really stands out to me is the weather conditions that day. I remember reading that the waters near Woronkofski Island can be pretty unpredictable, and the reports said it was particularly rough when he went out. Does anyone know if there's been any detailed analysis or weather report from that day? It just seems like understanding the environment could give us more context on what might have happened. Also, are there other cases of overturned boats in that area? Wondering if anyone local could shed more light on this.

Does anyone know how regularly the currents change around Woronkofski Island? I've read a bit about the waters in that area, and they can be pretty unpredictable. Just wondering if that might have played a role in what happened to Douglas. It’s really sticking in my mind that if those currents were particularly strong when his boat overturned, it might’ve been nearly impossible for anyone to make it to shore. If any local folks or boating experts have more insight, it would be great to hear your thoughts.
