Has anyone here been following the case of Shakiya and Shaniya Todd? My heart goes out to their family, especially considering the tragic circumstances around their loss. I stumbled upon some news articles, and there seems to be a lot of focus on D’Andre Smith and the court proceedings, but not much insight into what might have led to the confrontation in the first place. Does anyone have any details about the relationship among the people involved? Particularly curious about this woman the sisters were visiting. They say she was like an aunt to Shakiya and Shaniya, which makes me wonder what kind of influence or role she played leading up to the incident. It’s hard not knowing how it all escalated so quickly. If there’s any background or context from local sources, I’d be really interested to hear it. The whole situation is just so senseless. Keeping the Todd family in my thoughts.
