Has anyone else been thinking about the timing of the events surrounding Donald Patrick Jr.'s murder? It's tough to imagine this wasn't planned, given how the shooter seemingly knew his work schedule.
Maybe someone familiar with the area and Patrick’s routine could've tipped off the suspect about his late-night shift at Hooters. It makes me think there might be more witnesses who haven't come forward yet, even if they don't realize they saw something important. Maybe someone else saw the suspect before the shooting or saw them waiting in the parking lot?
I can't begin to imagine how hard this is for Patrick's family and daughters, especially not having answers for so long.
To anyone in the Saginaw community: if you can recall anything from that night or saw anything unusual, even if small, please consider reaching out. It might be the piece that helps his family get justice.
I've been thinking a lot about the impact on Donald's daughters, LaDonna and Olive, who have lost their father in such a tragic and senseless way. It breaks my heart to imagine what they must be going through, growing up without their dad, who was clearly so loved and respected. I can't help but wonder what kind of support system is in place for them now. Are there programs or community efforts in Saginaw that provide counseling or assistance for families affected by violent crimes? It seems so important that they have all the emotional and psychological support possible. This case still saddens me deeply, and I hope that someone with the right information steps up so that Donald's family, especially his daughters, can finally find some peace and closure. Does anyone know if Crime Stoppers has issued any new updates, or if there have been recent vigils or community gatherings in memory of him? Every little bit helps keep his memory alive and maybe inch us closer to justice.
I was reading through all the information on Donald Patrick Jr.'s case, and something that's been bothering me is the lack of surveillance footage from that area. I've been to the Bay Road Hooters in Saginaw, and it's surrounded by quite a few businesses, including a Walmart nearby. With all those places, you'd think there would be some security cameras that might have caught something useful.
Especially since there was mention of the suspect running towards Walmart after the shooting, I wonder if authorities checked footage around the time of the incident extensively. Even if the suspect got into a vehicle, as it's suspected, cameras might have caught the license plate or at least the vehicle type. It just feels like there could be more out there to help piece this together.
My heart goes out to his daughters and family. Living with this uncertainty must be incredibly painful. I hope someone with the right information comes forward soon, for their sake. If anyone here has any more info on whether this angle has been pursued thoroughly, it would be appreciated.
