Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Jaden and Katya from the village of Napaskiak, and something has been on my mind. I know the authorities conducted searches near the Kuskokwim River, but has there been any discussion about checking downstream areas more extensively or even re-checking spots that might have been missed? I understand that the river currents could have played a significant role, but I’m curious if there’s any initiative to search farther along based on how the river might have changed over the years. Also, it’d be interesting to know if any modern search technology, like newer forms of sonar, have been considered for use in such locations. Just wondering if the community or the authorities are looking into it, or if it’s something that might not have been feasible back in 2002. Thoughts appreciated!
