I’ve been following Nicholas Dion Collins’s case, and one thing that's really stayed with me is how much his community still seems to rally around his memory. It's clear from the number of people who showed up at his funeral at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel that he was deeply loved. For someone so young, it speaks volumes about his character and the impact he had on those around him. It’s incredibly moving to see the continued efforts from friends and locals to keep his story alive and push for resolution. The outreach from the Flint Police Department and Crime Stoppers, asking for any piece of information, shows that they’re still actively looking for leads. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for his family, waiting for any bit of news that might bring them closer to justice. To those who knew Nicholas, my heart goes out to you.
