Has anyone else been following the case of Deonta Thomas? I've been thinking a lot about the role his friends played. They drove him to the hospital after he was shot but then just left him there. It's really bothering me and I'm trying to understand why they'd do that. Was it panic or fear of getting involved? This is a young man fighting for his life, and they just leave him? I can't imagine what Deonta's family is going through, knowing that those who were supposed to have his back didn't stay to help. It's just so confusing and sad. I hope more details will be revealed soon. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Deonta Thomas case closely and can’t get over the eerie silence surrounding his death. One thing that bothers me is how his friends handled the situation after the shooting. They drove him to Sinai Grace Hospital, but then just left him at the entrance? I can’t imagine how terrifying and lonely that must have been for Deonta in his final moments. It raises so many questions for me. Why didn't they stay to make sure he got the help he needed? Was it fear, or did they know something more about what really happened? I really feel for his family - it must be so hard not having clear answers and knowing there might be people out there who could shed light on what really went down. I hope more witnesses step forward or someone remembers crucial details from that night. Deonta deserves that justice, and his family deserves peace. Any thoughts on why his friends might have walked away like that?
